The Vessel Today by 15 Komono Ceramic ArtistsFrom the 20th Oct-16th Nov a show of contemporary ceramics by 15 artists in Komono will be on show at The Paramita Museum, Komono-cho, Mie-ken, Japan http://www.paramitamuseum.com The Paramita Museum is a new museum that opened in the Spring of 2004. Its principal collections include an extensive range of Ko Bankoyaki one of the lesser known movements in Japanese Ceramics and well worth a visit plus the permanent collection of the works of Ikeda Masuo plus works by other artists. There is always a major exhibition and the next one is a monograph dedicated to Fujihara Shin. The Museum is a beautiful piece of architecture and the gardens a delight. 08/09/2004
